Calés supports raw-material procurement with recommendations to buy, wait, hedge or monitor. Five specialist agents cover fundamentals, market signals, forecasting, decision scoring and explanation, combining price history and inventory with Cala market signals.
Calculating first, explaining second
Forecasts and decision scores are calculated deterministically in code. The language model explains those results in an evidence-backed report, with a FastAPI backend supporting procurement reports and executive PDFs. The project won both the overall competition and Best Use of Cala.
